DESCRIPTION:https://www.permaculturenorth.org.au/event-2265554\n\n          \n                        \n            Living Skills Workshop:\n     Backyard Chickens\n     June 25th\, Denistone\n      If you are thinking about keeping chickens in your garden or you already have some\, but would like to see how they are managed in a different setting\, come to this workshop.\n\n  There will be a talk about proper housing\, a diet and how to prevent health problems. You will also have an opportunity to handle a chook (or a few) to learn how to check their health and trim feathers if needed.\n  This workshop will be conducted by a Margaret Mossakowska in her garden.\n\n\n What to bring:\n      * notebook to make notes\, camera to take pictures\n\n        * gumboots or boots suitable to walk around chicken enclosure\n\nRegister by clicking on the "Register" button.
