Permaculture Farmstays & Work Exchange

Have you considered combining travel with learning more about permaculture and organic farming? Are you thinking of starting a work exchange on your property?

Join us at the PSN meeting in Lindfield on November 19 to learn more about Permaculture farmstays and work exchanges! Joel and Kiki will be giving you insight into their experiences of two years of travelling with Permaculture as a focus. 

The Australian/ Swedish couple decided to leave their office jobs and explore Permaculture while travelling. Via WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), Helpx, and Workaway websites, they found farmstay opportunities in France, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Australia. 

They will be sharing tips for travellers on how to get started, finding hosts, the opportunities that this form of exchange can bring, travelling with minimal funds and challenges along the way. They will also give tips for potential hosts on how to get your property listed, what to think about and what you can expect.

Free for members, small donation for guests. 

Doors open at 6:30pm - a good time to check out our members' library & catch up with other PSN members.
