PSN Monthly Meeting - Ethical Meat Sourcing with Laura Dalrymple of Feather & Bone

Ethical Meat Sourcing with Laura Dalrymple of Feather & Bone

Feather and Bone Butchery provides meat from pasture-raised animals grown on regenerative farms that contribute to the overall health of the planet.

Purchasing meat from these farmers supports land management as well as animal and human welfare.  Every farm is visited and selected to ensure farms are committed to 100% transparency and traceability of their products from farms to plates.

Laurie Dalrymple will tell us how Feather and Bone started 13 years ago, choosing to work in sync with rather then against natural systems, with a long-term plan for developing intrinsic resilience and productivity.

She will tell us about their fascinating mix of farmers from all sorts of backgrounds -from sixth generation farmers through to tree changers migrating from urban careers to follow a dream of living on the land. Their methods of farming are diverse and distinct as the geography and terrain of their farms and are at varying stages on the path to sustainable management. Some are certified and some are not, but all have an unwavering commitment to leaving their land (and the people they are feeding) in better shape than they found it.

Come along to be apart of the honest conversation about buying power and how we can support such practices.

Check out their extensive webpage: https://featherandbone.com.au/
