SOURDOUGH BREAD WORKSHOP
Saturday 26th October 12.00pm to 3.00pm
Kiki will be giving you a hands-on opportunity to come together to learn how to make and share bread and at the same time talk about raising awareness of the environment.
She will take us through the process of 'nuturing' sourdough and making a "Traditional Country Loaf".
Bread has been at the heart and soul of human communities for thousands of years.
All ingredients will be supplied.
You will need to bring:-
* Clothes than can handle a bit of flour and / or apron
* A mixing bowl with a lid or a clean kitchen towel or plate as a cover
While we wait for the processes to take place
*** We will share lunch (Indian) which will be provided
*** Have a good discussion
*** Music (bring instruments if you have any)
And relax and enjoy an afternoon of good company
The workshop will run for 3 hours from 12.00 to 3.00pm
The cost is $10 (lunch is included)
A plate of desert or snacks for after lunch would be appreciated
Donations on the day to Bread4Change (for climate change action) will be welcome
