Want to help Stephanie prepare her garden in Pennant Hills for Sydney Edible Garden Trail (SEGT)? The better we can demonstrate  the ability to grow our own food, the more likely it is, particularly in these days of rising prices and concern about the environment, we can convert people to our way of doing things!

Besides a bit of cleaning up (weeding, mulching , cutting down a banana tree etc), we will be:

  1. putting in an in ground wicking bed for flowers (at the same time learning        how to use an A frame for finding contours for swales, diversion drains          etc)

2.putting in  in ground circular water tubes

  3. putting up a small commercial greenhouse

4.culling banana pups (which will be give aways).

Come for the day (9.30am to 4 pm) or come for an hour. Lunch will be supplied, but feel free to bring something to share for afternoon tea.

Don't forget sunscreen, hat, water bottle and gloves. Address will be supplied on registration.

For members only .Event is free.
