We have had the presentation by Garth Newton on preparation and follow up when meeting our MPs. Selina has come up with the genius idea of frquent contact with our decision makers re issues that concern us as permies. There were lots of ideas re advocacy bandied about at the last MC meeting, Interest in advocacy was shown by quite a few people in the recent survey conducted by Kiki. And pollies and big business are making hay while the Covid-19 disaster distracts most people. But we know what they are up to!!

After the pressure to get submissions in on time for the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act Review, it is time to get together and come up with longer term strategies to make a difference in the poitical scene.

No pancakes this time. We are having our first Advocacy meeting via Zoom on Sunday 21st June from 1pm - 2pm. Bring your ideas and the issues that are most important to you.
