All about Soil 

We are offering a  basic workshop on soil and soil testing. First, we will watch a few short videos on how to find what type of soil you have,  how that affects what you want to grow, and what to do about it. .

After that we will look at the soil samples you have brought from your garden, look at the texture, and learn how to test the pH of your soil samples. A pH test reveals whether your soil may be too .acidic or too alkaline and what you can do about it of it is not just right. 

So please bring a couple of samples of soil  from different parts of your garden - just half-fill  a small glass jar of each.

 Because of Covid  we will have to limit the numbers to 6 and please wear a mask if you feel comfortable doing so. 

Coffee tea and soda water are provided, but it would be good to bring a small snack to share. (if you are happy to share food at this tricky time)
