Highland Urban Farm


Scott will talk about the experience of setting up an urban farm in the Sydney suburbs, how he did it, lessons learned along the way and about the practical developing a farm compared to the original plans.

The farm is in the suburb of Thornleigh, which is the highest point in the Sydney basin (as high as Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains), hence the name! The family grows many vegetables on a double block of land and produce honey from their own beehives!

Please be aware that due to COVID restrictions:

  • Numbers are limited and you MUST register online to attend in person.
  • We will not be serving supper, but we will serve tea and coffee. Bring any snacks you need.
