Permabee – new date due to wet weather!

It’s time to get into the garden at Lindfield!

With such a wet summer Di’s citrus trees have gone berserk and the bananas… well they’ve gone bananas.

Come along to this established permaculture garden to lend a hand and meet up with other permies. There will be jobs for all levels of ability, skill and knowledge and lunch will be provided.

Jobs for the day will include:

• Pruning the mandarin and orange trees
• Reinvigorating the banana patch by removing pups
• Rejuvenating the polypipe wicking bed and planting it up
• Removing weeds

COVID precautions
As per our current PSN policy, you will need to be fully vaccinated to attend this event. We will provide sanitiser and you are welcome to bring a mask if you would like to.

What you need to bring:

• Sturdy enclosed shoes
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Gloves
• Water
• Your own coffee mug/ keep cup to save washing up

If you have secateurs, loppers or pruning-type tools that you can bring these will be handy.
