Just the sort of garden we like to get our teeth into – Margaret's huge garden in Denistone. This is where we will be going for our March permabee on Sunday 23rd March.

Margaret wants to open her garden to the public on International Permaculture Day in May this year. After being overseas for the past 3 months looking after her mother, the garden is doing what gardens do after a  lot of water, heat and "neglect".  As she seems to be the only permie who is  advertising the methods and joy of permaculture from amongst our membership, I think  we are honour bound to help her get it in the condition that will make it appealing to the visiting public. She also needs to fox proof the chook yard and renovate the wicking beds with Water Ups reservoirs.

So come for a few hours, or come for the day, wear your protective clothing, and your hat and gloves. Bring your water bottle and something to share for afternoon tea! It will be lots of fun, and very satisfying when you see the difference a few permies and a few hours can make!!

Guests are welcome. Lunch and tea and coffee will be provided.
