Learn how to make Kombucha and Ginger Beer (non alcoholic)

On Saturday afternoon  29th March, Florence will show us how she makes Kombucha, and she will bring some culture (Scoby)  for you to take home to make your own.  (There are many ways to spell it – kombucha, kampuchea, kimbuchea  and more)

But it tastes good and has a reputation for promoting good health.

After that   Phillip will show how he makes NAGA (his word) which is Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer.  This is a pleasant drink with  far less sugar than  commercial  ginger beer. With some variation, and more sugar, it can also be made alcoholic.

After that we will sample the drinks and have afternoon tea. Tea, herbal and otherwise, and coffee is  provided  but please bring a small plate of something to nibble on while we talk.
