Permabee: Garden Deconstruction   Wahroonga
Sunday 16th November 2025     9.30am to12.30

RE -SCHEDULED  DATE   due to rain

Sadly for us, Rachel and her husband are leaving Sydney to live the Permaculture and Holistic Management dream down south. She has done a wonderful job for PSN as our Social Media person – so talented! To help them on their way, we are having a deconstruction event so they can take what they can of their garden with them.

Rachel's garden is a wonderful example of what can be done in a garden when the expectation is to move houses one day, with pots, chook run and soil management.

We will be dismantling the above ground garden beds,  and emptying the compost bins and the hungry worm bin. Participants are free to take home soil, worm castings, and betel leaf cuttings/plants. There is also a dragon fruit plant in a pot and a couple of bananas in pots. If the bananas are too big, there are some pups that can be taken instead.  If you would like to take home any of the above, you will need to bring something to put them in.

Lunch will be provide, but if you like, it would be nice to bring something to share for dessert. Dress for the weather, and bring your water bottles.

The address will be provided on registration. It is about 20 minutes walk from Wahroonga Station.

For questions or cancellations, please ring Stephanie on 0412489263
