An Evening of Deep Ecology

Ever feel the weight of the world's environmental crises and wonder, “Where might I even begin?”

The answer isn't just in changing our habits – it’s in changing how we feel our connection to the Earth.

Join us for a powerful, experiential evening as we dive into the transformative world of Deep Ecology.

We are thrilled to feature Erika Aligno, Director of the Institute for Deep Ecology and John Seed, founder and director of the Rainforest Information Centre in Australia and a prominent figure in the deep ecology movement!

Since 2023, Erika and John have worked closely together and co-led over a dozen transformative workshops across Australia and soon, the USA. Erika invites us to explore how we might begin to strip away the illusion of separation and (re)connect with our true ecological identity.

Come with us on a journey of:

• The grounding sounds of didgeridoo
• Poetry with John (joining us via Zoom)
• The roots of deep ecology
• A live, interactive practice in deeply connecting

Doors open at 6.30pm. Come early to help set up, browse the library or find a treasure on the Reuse and Recycle table.

Stick around for a cuppa and a chat after the speaker. Supper will be provided by the Hornsby group this month.
