Living Skills: Knit & Natter
Sunday 8th November
10:30am – 1:00pm Waverton

Knitting is not only a relaxing past-time, but making wearable garments and household items for yourself and your family is one element of sustainable living. The items that you take the time to knit and mend yourself hold far more value than fast fashion, and can be passed on to other family members.

Bring your current knitting, crochet or other handiwork project for a relaxing get together and a chat with fellow crafters.

If you do not have a project on the go there will be an opportunity to learn how to knit or crochet a cotton dishcloth, with materials provided.

Assistance can be provided for learner knitters and crocheters.

The venue has nearby parking and is easily accessible. It is also a 300m walk from Waverton Station, 10 minutes walk from Pacific Highway buses, and 15 mins from Victoria Cross metro.

Tea and coffee provided. Please bring a plate of food to share.

This event is for PSN members only and will be a regular event in the future with different venues.
