Seed Savers Gathering
2–4pm Sunday 25th October in Longueville
We will be revamping our seed collection which is now under the care of Mandy, as Pete is injured and out of action.
There are lots of seeds in the seed collection to plant, some rooted cuttings to share, and cuttings to take from Mandy's garden. No experience required!
If you have them, please bring:
- spare seeds for the collection, named and dated
- seeds that need processing (Mandy has small envelopes)
- small pots or seed trays to plant up and take home
- seed raising mix (Mandy will have some available too)
Come share ideas over a cuppa while sorting and planting! Mandy can also talk about her composting and worm farming methods, and weed tea fertiliser.
Tea, coffee and scones will be provided, but feel free to bring something to share for afternoon tea.
There are buses (e.g. 261 from St Leonards) that take you within 200m walk of Mandy's place.
