This month, in lieu of a permabee (since no one wants one at the moment), we will be having a design event at Cathy P's garden at East Lindfield. Cathy has attended many permabees and is our co-librarian and co-advocacy team leader. She has done a PDC with Robyn Francis a couple of years ago and has elements of a permaculture garden, but would like fresh ideas on how to inject new possibilities there.
This is a great opportunity for new students of the Urban Design course to flex their creative muscles with their new found knowledge and apply the principles that are fresh in their minds. More experienced permies can use this chance to get back to basics. The more design ideas we can come up with the more interesting it will be for everyone.
Dress for the weather, but with the influx of leaches and ticks about, please wear long sleeves, trousers and enclosed shoes. Don't forget your hat.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Something edible to share for afternoon tea would be very welcome too.
This is a free event. Address will be sent on confirmation of registration.
Any member who has contributed to PSN , has a design and would like help to implement it, please contact Stephanie on 0412489263.
